Sunday Recap: March 29

So it has been a week since I returned from my adventures with my family. My internet has been a bit slow so uploading photos has been a pain. I have also felt quite drained with having the two weeks off then returning to long days at work. My head felt like it was in a fog for most of the week but I am feeling much better. Last Sunday I took the bus into town and purchased a few bathbombs at Lush before watching the Tale of the Princess Kaguya at FACT Picturehouse.

This weekend on Saturday I went into town. Wandering around a bit and doing a bit of research for my Lisbon trip in Waterstones.  I got on the bus for home when I noticed my housemate Danny outside the bus when we came to a stop. We were right across from his coffee shop. I got his attention and he managed to inform me they had cake in stock. Getting off at the next stop I walked to the coffee shop. I got a delicious slice of their banana chocolate cake and a latte. I found out then that my other housemate Adam was in the coffee shop. I sat next to him and we chatted as I enjoyed the delicious cake.

Today, I woke and went into town to meet Jamie for lunch. We watched Home at the Odeon before going to Lush and picking up a few things. I'm planning on lots of baths it seems. Looking forward to them.

The Return

I've been gone for two weeks now and have finally returned home. This time it is alone. I left my family in Dublin and flew the very short half hour flight across the Irish Sea to Liverpool. After a quick bite to eat in the airport, I arrived home by bus. It was a very happy feeling to walk into my room. I put on my pajamas and crawled into bed.  My trip to Paris, London and Liverpool with my mother and sister was amazing. We had so much fun and made so many memories. Flying to Belfast with them and meeting my sister's mother-in-law Carol for our week of driving around Ireland was so different that I would have to say they were two separate vacations. I'll be trying to make more posts about my adventures soon.

Adventure Time

Saturday is nearly here. I am so thrilled. One last shift at work that I hope will fly by and then a quick sleep before I am in Paris with my mother and sister. When I saw this quote online, I could not help but think of the adventure we will be having together. I have not seen them in a year now and there is not a day that goes by that I do not miss them.

I'll try to keep up to date but shall be savouring every second spent with my family.

Sunday Recap: March 1

Well it's Sunday again. I can't believe how time flies. It is certainly not dragging for me. Next Sunday's post may not happen unless I happen to do one at night but I will be flying to Paris on Saturday morning and meeting my mother and sister. We plan to go to Versailles on Sunday and then take the Eurostar to London on Monday. My sister and mom fly from Vancouver on Friday so they have even less days than me to worry about.

I think everything is falling into place. I am very excited. Our road trip in Ireland will be a blast and I got a little mini-lesson on driving on the left hand side of the road today by my lovely housemate so am feeling pretty confident. I just have to watch my spacing on the road and keep an eye on posted speed limits so I know how fast I am meant to be going.

I noticed a small crack in one of my teeth so I am going to pop to the dentist just down the road when they open at 9 am tomorrow and hope that they can fit me in for some sort of treatment in order to fix it. Luckily I am not in any pain but I want to sort it out so that it does not become worse.

I hope I am able to get an appointment tomorrow for my tooth and that the work week flies.
