Sunday Recap: December 28
This past week wet by really quickly. I only had to work three days so rather than take the bus I took the train. It was a nice experience. Work whipped by and I worked only four hours Christmas Eve and it was all on tills. All my housemates disappeared off to their own families leaving me all by myself. A bit of a lone wolf, I opened presents, drank, cooked myself a lovely turkey dinner and then in the spirit of Frozen built my own snowman using most of the snow in the yard. Lots of chocolate was also consumed over the four days I had off. I watched 'The Hundred Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared' a present from Jamie. My coworker Becky also got me the Welsh tv series Stella and I was able to get through the first four episodes.
With the new year coming I a trying to decide on some goals to set myself for travel but so far its relatively small. Will need more time to think about it.

So this is Christmas
So I woke up Christmas morning. No snow outside. Such a shame. I had my bowl of cereal and a Baileys and coffee mix before getting started on my presents. I felt very spoiled with the selection from my loved ones in Canada and my friends here in Liverpool.
Santa sure spoiled me this Christmas. My stocking was very plentiful with treats.
Looking and feeling silly in my new Totoro hoodie. It kept me nice and warm as I opened up gifts.
The beautiful paper from Tayla and the socks that were in side. Felt very foxy.
Could not have been happier with my new scarf and hat knitted by Hillary. The pin on the hat says I (heart) P R and the heart is actually a blackberry.
A lovely ornament sent from my grandmother and below the ring and bracelet from my mom.
I have four days off of work and go back Monday. I am super happy today, feel very spoiled by everyone. Made myself a delicious turkey dinner with all the fixings. Felt very proud that I managed that. Going to have a relaxing evening now.
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Sunday Recap: December 21
I cannot believe it is already Sunday again. Feels like the week is just flying by. I did not get a lot done this week. Working from 8 to 5:30 from Monday to Friday. On Tuesday I enjoyed a delicious butter chicken curry with Jamie and had a good chat with her.
On Wednesday we met in town for dinner and to watch The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies which I highly recommend. I really enjoyed the film. I thought it was a great conclusion to the films. I headed home and have been listening to the end song sung by Billy Boyd ever since.
I made sausage and lentil soup today to keep my belly warm in the run up to Christmas. Cannot believe that there are only four days left. Crazy!

Sunday Recap: December 14 2014
This week was full of early starts and lots of customers. Christmas is soon upon us and I'll be happy when it's come and gone. We've had Christmas jumper this week and I happily sported my Elf jumper with pride.
The week seemed to fly by and soon it was Friday. We were heading out for a work night out and it was a lot of fun. I made friends with tequila that night. I called it quits when I felt I was having too much and headed home.
On Saturday I woke up with no hangover. Lucky me. I headed into town and used my last movie pass to go to Paddington which was a very cute and funny movie. I enjoyed the entire thing so I can only suggest giving it the benefit of the doubt. After the film, I got a slice of Hawaiian from American Pizza slice before walking to the Walker Art Gallery and enjoying a stroll through the beautiful art.
Sunday, today, has been a bit of a slow start. I had a sleep in and I could not decide whether to make soup or to not make soup. I have decided to postpone that question for tomorrow. Watching Liverpool play away at Manchester United. Hoping for a win.

My Birthday List: Get a tattoo
Getting a tattoo was number 6 on my Birthday List. Getting a tattoo has been not just on my birthday list but on my life list. I've always wanted one but wanted to make sure that I was 100% committed to what I wanted and with whom I was getting it done by. Being in the UK, there are lots of amazing great artists. I found my artist Charlotte Timmons through the blog The Laughing Medusa when she featured Charlotte in her in her Tattoo Talk series. You can view the interview here if you would like.
My tattoo was done by Charlotte at Bold as Brass Tattoo Company on the 29th of November. She was guesting at the shop for the weekend and I had booked in with her over the summer. She was super lovely and very nice. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all and she was very patient with me. As this is my first tattoo and it took four hours, there were a few twitches here and there but she was great the whole way through.
I am in love with the finished product and hope to get more in the future.
